A LITTLE HISTORY ON PHYSICIANS OPTICAL COMPANY
I am the 4th generation in the optical industry. My Grandfather and Great Grandfather were M.D.s. My father, wife and myself are certified opticians. My father started Physicians Optical in 1950 when he bought out the American Optical (A/O) owned and operated shop in East St. Louis, IL. Before that he worked for Bausch & Lomb B/L in St. Louis. By being around so long we have accumulated a huge collection of Vintage Eyewear both New and Used. I am always digging around in the store rooms and finding treasures. Also we are located close to Scott Air Force Base and have a large number of New and Used Military eyeglass frames. Put me on your favorite seller list because you never know what I will find next. We are running out of room so both the New and Old must go and I will get them listed as fast as time permits. Between the 3 of us we have over 100 years experience so you can buy with confidence.
