A: Hi, we've concluded this weight to be best for real life applications and to be worn all day around others without anyone noticing the device (approx 1/3Lbs). The MagMax is very slightly heavier and has more magnetic properties. It really is a case of time = results... just a little weight goes a long way if worn continuously for a few weeks or more.
