Singing in the rain!
(A night to remember)
("Burberry": The world-famous brand, currently a "must-have" fashion accessory, and beloved of many famous people right across the world from America to Japan).
This beautiful, traditional, authentic Burberry trench coat has been very well cared for, being in genuinely excellent, nearly new condition. The outer fabric and the lining are both excellent. The leather buckles are in fantastic, as new condition. If you visit www.burberry.com, you will see that a new coat like this would normally cost around £700.
The coat will be freshly dry-cleaned and reproofed for you.
The coat is labelled "10 Long", and Burberry sizing is fairly reliable. Having said that, it would no doubt fit a size up, depending on whether a loose or more fitted look is desired.
It has the classic trench coat styling with easy shoulder line, raglan sleeves, the usual gun/storm flaps and leather covered buckles, epaulettes and a wide belt to enhance the waist. Naturally it has the trademark Burberry nova check lining. This coat is very, very comfortable. Soft warm beige colour. Our two lady models are both wearing Burberry trench coats. The actual coat (in exactly the same style) that I have on offer has been photographed on the hanger.
Size: 10 Long (Will also fit UK size 12)
(UK 10-12 = US 8-10; F 38-40; D 36-38; I 42-44; AUS 12-14)
The coat (House code (261)) measures:
22.5in/57cm across from underarm to underarm,
16.5in/42cm from underarm to cuff (please note that this is not your actual arm length because of the raglan sleeve)
44in/112cm from back neck to hem (excluding the collar)
Since this is a raglan, you do not need a shoulder measurement
Because of the style of the coat, it will fit anyone in the above-mentioned size ranges. Much will depend on how fitted you want it to look.
What can I tell you that is not already apparent from the photos? The coat has many classic Burberry features:
- Prorsum label
- Trademark Burberry "Nova" check lining
- Slim cut
- Double-breasted styling with bone buttons
- Rear kick vent with button
Cuff belt adjusters with leather-covered buckles
Collar and neck closable with buttons and hook and eye
Two side slash pockets with buttons
Storm flap on left breast
Gun flap at back
Top-stitched seams
Order number on label in side pocket and poachers pockets inside
Belt with leather-covered buckle
Epaulettes
If you're looking for a Burberry mac (and why shouldn't you treat yourself, or someone dear to you, to such a hot fashion item?), you couldn't really do better than this one.. I only pick out the best ones for my collection.

Just a few words about Burberrys' (or Burberry as they are now known):
Founded in the mid-19th century by Thomas Burberry, an English draper, the company has become world-renowned for the quality of its clothing. It invented gabardine, kitted out polar explorers Amundsen and Shackleton, supplied clothing to the British army in the Boer War and World War I, invented the trench coat, and, if that is not enough to make you want one, has been awarded two Royal warrants by HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales.
