Getting Started
Plug the Kiyosaki styler into and electrical outlet. To turn
the styler on, press the "On/Off" button to turn it on and hold down for 2
seconds or until the display illuminates. To set the desired temperature use the
+/- to set the temperature. For best results, allow the appliance approximately
30-60 seconds heating time. Press the "Off" button and unplug the styling tool
after styling is complete.
Separate a 2-inch section of your dry and clean
hair. Gently place the hair between the smoothing plates and clamp the styler
down firmly on the hair. You will achieve professional results if you work from
the scalp to the ends of your hair.
Leave Kiyoseki in fine hair for 5-8
seconds and for 10-15 seconds in thick hair.
Once hair is heated, carefully
slide the Kiyoseki along the isolated section, making sure the hair is heated
and straightened all the way to the ends. The ends will probably require less
heat than the hair that grows closer to the scalp.
Remove hair from the
styler by releasing pressure and allowing the hair to gently slip out from the
smoothing plates.
The smoothing process does not require overlapping;
separate each section of hair and work on it as indicated above. Allow hair to
cool before combing or brushing.
Repeat the process until you have you have
achieved the look you desire.
Straighten Curly and Frizzy
Hair
Using your Kiyoseki hair clips, clip hair from the top of head
so you can start styling the underneath layers first and then move to the upper
layers.
Begin styling by separating a slice of hair no thicker than half the
width of the heating plates on your Kiyoseki.
Slowly glide the Kiyoseki
through each section from the hair root through the end of the hair.
Allow
hair to cool and gently pass a comb through the hair for a smoother silkier
finish.
Create Full Size Curls
For big
flowing curls, comb out a dry section of hair and gently clamp the iron a few
inched from the scalp (Do not close the iron completely).
Twist your wrist
so the iron is upside down and pull the rest of the section over the top of the
iron.
Continue turning the iron in the same direction while simultaneously
pulling the iron downward until the ends of the hair have passed through the
plates, creating a big bouncy curl.
Create Small Soft Curls
Comb out a
small section of dry hair and then wrap it around your finger.
Gently slide
your finger out keeping the hair ends on the inside of the curl.
Carefully
clamp the circular section for a few seconds and release to create a cute
ringlet.
Add Volume:
Take diagonal sections of
dry hair from the root and slowly glide the Kiyosaki Styler from the root in an
upward direction.
As you reach the end of each section, slowly twist your
wrist inward to create a rounded, fuller shape.
Create Fun Flips:
Take a small
section of dry hair, and slowly slide the iron down the section of hair from
root to ends.
For an outward flip, twist wrist upward as you near the ends.
For an inward flip, twist wrist downward as you near the ends
