BEAUGESTE has served me well. she has sailed the Great Lakes, Lake Champlain, Lake George, and the Chesapeake bay with style and comfort. I am only selling her because I have retired and bought a larger cruising catamaran. She sleeps 4 comfortably. Her hull is a recently painted dark green and her decks are an off white, Extra paint for both is included.she draws 18" keel up and about 5' down. The unique pop top feature allows standing headroom in the galley/dining area, and while the material for the pop top could use replacing, it is servicable.
The mast lowering and raising system, which is included is, believe it or not, easy to use. I have done it repeatedly and while it can be done be one, it is easier with two.I will deliver the boat within 200 miles of High Rock Lake, NC, and teach you how to sail, if you wish. Otherwise, it must be picked up at High Rock Lake. Presently it is a slip at Skipjack Harbor, a quiet spot with 24 hour electric controlled access. The slip is assumable.
The trailer is made by Macgregor for this boat, and has surge brakes. I added new tires, bearings and bearing buddies three years ago. I towed the boat from PA to NC.... 600 miles with a Toyota Highlander easily. It is not too pretty... but it works very well, and taking the boat in and out is a snap. This trailer does not have a title (The boat DOES). I have the original MFG bill of sale from Macgregor but the one previous owner lived in a state where one didnt have to license trailers... so he never did, and by the time I got it the thread had been lost, so to speak. I use a plate from another little trailer I have and have never had any problems whatsoever.... and it has been trailered all over the East.
