This nicely done Russian lacquer eyeglass case is hand painted by the professional  artists from the villages of Mstera, Kholui, Palekh, signed by initials. 
It is hard, light and opens up like a clam shell, hinged. 
Design: Russian Fairy Tale (Swn Princess)

Contemporary. New, in perfect condition. Some patches are effect of reflected light.
Case measures: 6  x 2 1/2 x 1 3/8 inch (1 inch=2,5 cm).
