New, in box. The barrel shaped pieces do have some superficial scratches on them, but it was like that when I bought it. All of the ones at the store were like that. I don't know if it's from sticking to itself, or what, because when you open the box it will be stuck together even though it has a little groove to sit in. If you move the box at all it the magnets do their job, just wanted you to know before you bid.
Insurance is optional and is based on the value on the item. Shipping can be combined on items won within 7 days of each other as long as all wins are paid for in one payment, shipped to one address, and can be shipped together in the same box. Combined shipping policy is full price for the item with the highest shipping and then you receive a $2 discount on the stated postage for each additional item won.
