Here's an old Yardley product from 1969. It is a flowered perfumed powder mitt filled with Oh! de London LUV DUST and deodorant for use after tub or shower. The mitt was never used and is still sealed in plastic inside the original box.
The box shows it's nearly 40 years of ownership. When first found, the box had the slight "odor" you get from old stored books. I have aired it out for a few days and it seems to be gone. The bag of powder has been sealed in thick plastic all these years and the powder feels soft so I am assuming it has retained it's fragrance. I can detect a very light fragrance through the plastic.
