This is 1 of 9 eyepieces I made up this year.
I have personally made an 80mm refractor / 2 x 8" reflectors / various other sizes , collimated them using laser and traditional methods. The eyepieces are aligned to the best of my ability.
This lens came from a Hanimex zoom video camera.....the front meniscus. Glass is 30mm diam. , is clean , has an orange coating and is an achromat. It has not been removed from its housing. It gives wide angle views, long eye relief and a large exit pupil.
Original markings said ' f=9-54 F 1:1.2 ' Fits a 2" focuser snug.
