Description
Intergalacticwanderer is the Ebay trading name of Skylight Telescopes. Please View My About Me page for more information.
A standard item found on most draw tube telescope in the first half of the 20th century (many were made for use in wartime), these are a pair of lens covers which protect both optical ends of the telescope.
They are a pair, so there is a cap for both an objective, and an eyepiece. The objective end (with the strap) measures approximately 6.5cm internally, and the eyepiece end measures just over 5 cm. Please use these measurements as a guide only, as they leather may not be a perfect circle when it was being measured...see the pictures for details. No brand name is visible.
The Objective end still has its' strap, and shows some scarring where something has been removed. There is no strap for the eyepiece end. Apart from what I have mentioned, they're both in otherwise good condition, and would perfect for spares, or for completing a vintage draw scope that has lost it's covers.

Due to nature of item, I’m happy to offer in person collection, but request payment in person if this option is used. In the unlikely event of loss in transit, I will work with the buyer to deal with any claim details. Please be aware this involves dealing with external companies who have independent schedules. As a result, this can take several weeks to resolve. If paying by cheque, buyer will have to wait 6 working days for cheque clearance before release of goods. I describe the item fairly, and expect the buyer to be satisfied. If you feel negative feedback is appropriate, please contact me with your concerns first. I feel good communication will always lead to an amicable solution to any issues. When I know the item has arrived, and the buyer has indicated their satisfaction via feedback, I then regard the transaction as complete. Only then will appropriate feedback be left. Thank you.
