This is a BRAND NEW UNTOUCHED stretch type night splint used for plantar fasciitis heel pain. Why buy a used splint when these are so inexpensive? You wouldn't buy a used shoe, would you? Yuk!! The concept is that by keeping the calf muscle and achilles tendon stretched while sleeping, the plantar fascia in the bottom of the foot don't shorten overnight. The result is a pain free morning! If you have frequent "charley horse" type cramping, this will relieve those symptoms as well. These are imported from China by a major US supplier of orthopedic soft goods- these generally cost $40 or more at your local doctor's office, but you can get them here for half that. The soft good features a soft lycra cover, very well padded and the edges are finished to limit fraying. The straps are all heavy duty, and a traction sole on the bottom helps for those late night bathroom breaks, although we DO NOT recommend walking in this product. This is the same item sold to doctor's offices, so you can buy with confidence. These come in brand new packaging- please inspect completely, because once you put them on your foot they are non-returnable.
