Jupiter Science uses only genuine Platinum coated Titanium electrodes. Models
coming in from China or Taiwan are using Platinoiridium. Many competitors don't
use platinum titanium because platinum titanium is 7 times more expensive than
iridium. The Japanese and Korean governments do not allow any company to sell
iridium for drinking water applications because it is bad for your health.
Jupiter Science does nothing but make quality alkaline water ionizers. Their
water ionizers have a low repair rate and should provide you with great service
for many years. We continue to supply replacement filters for the first Jupiter
models brought into the USA over ten years ago.

This unit currently sells for $1395 brand new.
This unit was purchased approximately one year ago, it is in excellent working conditions and has been very well taken care of. The current filter is approximately 1/3 of the life used, the counter shows 3711 and the filter needs to be replaced at 9999. I do not have the original manual, box or fittings. The unit will come with the tubing which I had been using to connect it to my cold water line, you may need to install an adapter to fit it perfectly. I am selling this unit because my family prefers reverse osmosis water, so I have no choice but to sell this one.
